Differing Perceptions

John O'Neil had a good article this week in the New York Times, Adults' Differing Perceptions Make It Hard to Read Johnny. O'Neil writes of teachers and adults differing perceptions of the same child. It's a good read for both parents and teachers.

Point of View

I guess it depends on your point of view whether you title an AP posting Baptists Call for Public School Support or Southern Baptist Activists Again Seek to Pull Children from Public Schools. Follow either link and you'll end up an the same posting by AP's Rose French who tells of "56 Baptist leaders urged members to 'speak positively about public education'" and then two other leaders submitting a resolution "urging Baptists to develop an 'exit strategy' from public schools."
